If you ever go to Namibia, the one thing you should not miss is Etosha National Park. A 4 hour drive from Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, will take you to the Etosha Pan. If you spend a couple of days here, you might get to see the big 5 and many more animals living in their true nature as wild animals. There are lots of springboks and elephants. Some times you get to see lions hunting or even cheetahs or leopards at the waterholes.
Namibia is a great country. Beautiful with nature and wildlife. Compared to the country I am from, Denmark, Namibians general lifestyle is so different compared to ours. Traveling teaches you a lot! It makes you see life from a new point of view.
After the first 4 weeks I started realizing that this was going to end. After 4 weeks I met a guy which I fell in love with. I still feel like I made a huge mistake that time.
We started talking at Lapa Night and talked about getting married. I guess we were drunk.. But he was a real gentleman. I told him to sleep in my cabin, but he didn’t want to because I was drunk and this was the first night.
I clearly remember how he asked me, if I would talk to him the next day. I said I would!
Have you read about The Beginning of my trip to Harnas Wildlife Foundation?
Every day you follow the routine. If you’re lucky, you get sunday off. But don’t expect to have any days off at all while you’re there.
So I decided to stay at Harnas Wildlife Foundation for 5 weeks. It was one of my best experiences in my life! As soon as you arrive, you feel so happy. Everything is so pieceful. Life has a different meaning here. It’s not about how pretty you are or how much money you have. It’s about who you are and it’s about the animals!
